In "Defiant Night," a legendary tale awaits your brave party.
Plot:
Every year, on winter's fourth night, someone somehow leaves presents for all the supposedly good folk of Misthaven, sneaking into each and every home in a single evening. That was the first red flag...someone better than you and your crew at going places you're not supposed to be? Impossible! Or rather, improbable at least. The following morning, the gifts are found tucked under decorated trees and inside large socks hung above fireplaces, and every one is magically tailored to each citizen. That's the second red flag; how does anyone keep accurate track of each individual desire of every person of an entire country? You've been watching this so-called holiday unfold for a few years now, and you believe you're onto something. Whoever carries this out, whatever their reasons are, surely there's something dark lurking under the surface! They must be a powerful mage, or maybe even a mischievous deity, no one does this out of the goodness of their heart! Right? Either way, you and your crew are going to get to the bottom of this strange celebration, and uncover whatever sinister plot is sitting in the shadows, just out of sight...
