Adventure Synopsis:
The grueling hunt is over. What started as a furled piece of parchment with a desperate, hastily scrawled plea for help on it turned into three whole days and three whole nights spent under a thick, arboreal canopy, trudging through mud and blood, with only the cold and your companions to keep you company. The third and final night, last night, ended with nothing short of the most demanding, scarring, hellish battle you and your team have ever had with a beast before. You barely made it out of there. What's worse, none of you even recognize what the damned thing you fought and slayed even was. At least you know now what was responsible for the disappearing townsfolk. That is why you do this, isn't it? For the peace of mind, safety, and comfort that your skills enable you to grant to others? Those three things sound pretty fantastic right about now, and as such, you're journeying back east, returning to the village of Ryivek where this adventure- if you can call it that- started. You're all hoping for good food and better pay, and, after a bit of due celebration, a good night's sleep, nothing more. You're almost there; there's only a few more miles between you and Ryivek, between your heads and some warm beds, between you and what you hope will be...a night of rest.
